Chipping Campden is inspired by a landscape view from Northwick Hill near Broad Campden in Gloucestershire, England.
The landscape is structured through painterly horizontal and diagonal lines of brushstrokes, creating the essence of the view from the drawings and sketches from life.
The painting develops qualities that struck me as particularly moving whilst sketching - the quality of light, colours and rhythms in the landscape.
Hand-made Michael Harding and Jackson's professional artist oils are used on a professional Pintura canvas. The canvas profile is 1.8 cms and the edges are white with copper tacks.
Beautiful modern art — Chipping Campden expressive landscape oil painting.

4. Will the artwork I receive be exactly as shown on the website?
It will be exactly as it is shown but sometimes there will be a very minor variation in the quality of colour due to your computer screen displaying colour (or calibrating) slightly differently from my Apple Macintosh screen.
So far, I have not had anyone find the colour difference was enough to warrant returning a painting. If you are concerned, I will accept returns within 365 days.
