The Stratford diesel train from Mill Hill is inspired by landscape views of the countryside as you look from Mill Hill, over the single track railway line to the north west of Bearley in Warwickshire, England.
The reference to a train is inspired by Leon Kossoff's Here comes the diesel painted in Spring 1987. The Stratford-upon-Avon train runs through the landscape, visible between patches in the corridor of greenery.
It was painted using Winsor & Newton watercolour paints on Fabriano Artistico 140lb 300gsm watercolour paper.

4. Will the artwork I receive be exactly as shown on the website?
It will be exactly as it is shown but sometimes there will be a very minor variation in the quality of colour due to your computer screen displaying colour (or calibrating) slightly differently from my Apple Macintosh screen.
So far, I have not had anyone find the colour difference was enough to warrant returning a painting. If you are concerned, I will accept returns within 365 days.
