An energetic and colourful abstract work, Hot ride captures dynamism and movement.
It is inspired by the summer coast at Lytham St Annes and it expresses the energy of the urban coastline.
I've used oil pastels and ink in the most direct way possible to express feeling through colour, abstract shapes and patterns.
Artist oil pastels and black ink are used on watercolour paper (140lb 300gsm).
Signed and dated on the back by the artist, this oil pastel also comes with a certificate of authenticity bearing the artist’s signature.
